- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information

3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 Booking Process
When you make a booking through BatamStay, you enter into a direct contractual relationship with the property owner. BatamStay acts as an intermediary platform facilitating this transaction.
3.2 Payment
All payments must be made through the platform using approved payment methods. You agree to pay all fees and charges associated with your booking, including:
- Nightly accommodation fees
- Cleaning fees (if applicable)
- Service fees
- Any applicable taxes
3.3 Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policies vary by property and are clearly displayed before booking confirmation. Please review the specific cancellation policy for each property carefully. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the property's cancellation policy.
4. Property Owner Responsibilities
Property owners who list on BatamStay agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete property information
- Maintain the property in good condition
- Honor confirmed bookings
- Comply with all local laws and regulations
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
5. Guest Responsibilities
Guests who book through BatamStay agree to:
- Treat the property with respect and care
- Comply with property rules and regulations
- Not exceed the maximum number of guests
- Report any damages or issues immediately
- Leave the property in good condition
- Respect neighbors and the local community
6. Liability and Disclaimers
6.1 Platform Service
BatamStay provides a platform to connect guests and property owners. We are not responsible for the actual rental services provided. Property owners are solely responsible for their listings and services.
6.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BatamStay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or any bookings made through it.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the BatamStay platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of BatamStay or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without explicit written permission from BatamStay.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between guests and property owners, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through BatamStay's resolution center. If resolution cannot be achieved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with Indonesian law.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe:
- Violates these Terms and Conditions
- Is harmful to other users or the platform
- Violates applicable laws or regulations
- Could expose BatamStay to legal liability
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Batam, Indonesia.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated terms on the platform and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
